1. Gon Freecss Design
Gon Freecss is a Rookie Hunter and the son of Ging Freecss, who was a Hunter that went missing. Gon decided to become a Hunter in order to track down his missing father.
The Gon Freecss eyeglasses design is simple and smart. These eyeglasses are perfect for everyday use. The sides (temples) of the glasses are decorated with a “W” pattern inspired by Gon’s spiky hair. At the end of the temple tips is a design inspired by Gon’s fiery punch attack.
2. Killua Zoldyck Design
Killua is the third child of Silva and Kikyo Zoldyck and the heir of the Zoldyck Family until he decides to run away and become a Rookie Hunter. Gon becomes his best friend despite their rocky beginning, and he later travels with Alluka Zoldyck.
The Killua Zoldyck design reflects Killua’s cold yet smart demeanor perfectly. These eyeglasses are definitely for the cool intellectual. The glasses’ temples have a decoration inspired by Killua’s electric ability and the temple tips have the design of a yo-yo. The temples are also a silvery color like Killua’s hair.
3. Leorio Paradinight
Leorio Paradinight is a Rookie Hunter and a member of the Zodiacs. His codename is “Boar”. He is also a medical student studying to become a doctor.
In the anime, Leorio is seen wearing some distinctive round frames and the Leorio Paradinight design reflects this perfectly. The Leorio Paradinight design features a design of a briefcase at the end of the temple tips, which resembles the briefcase Leorio is seen carrying in the anime. These glasses also resemble the glasses Vash the Stampede is known for wearing.
4. Kurapika Design
Kurapika is the last survivor of the Kurta Clan and is a Blacklist Hunter. Currently, he’s the leader of an organization founded by Light Nostrade. He is a member of the Zodiacs. His codename is “Rat”. Kurapika seeks to avenge his clan and recover the remaining Scarlet Eyes.
Speaking of “Scarlet Eyes” the Kurapika eyeglasses design features two red dots on the front of the frames. At the end of the temple tips is a design inspired by the weighted chain that Kurapike fights with (it resembles a deadly cross).
5. Hisoka Morow Design
Hisoka Morow is a Hunter and a former member of the Phantom Troupe. Hisoka is constantly searching for a strong opponent that will actually present a challenge to him. When he encounters Gon and Killua he sees their potential and fights them so that they will one day become strong enough to give him a challenge.
One of Hisoka’s most distinctive characteristics is that he dresses like an “evil clown” but somehow manages to pull the look off and look rather stylish!
The Hisoka design features tiny star-shaped and tear-dropped shaped designs on the front of the frames. The temples (sides) of the glasses are decorated with a tiny heart and diamond. The ends of the temple tips are decorated with a design of four playing cards.
These glasses are definitely for someone who wants a little devious flair in their eyewear.
6. Chrollo Lucilfer Design
Chrollo Lucilfer is the founder, leader, and member of the Phantom Troupe.
Chrollo Lucilfer’s design is heavily inspired by his signature black trench coat, which he is seen wearing frequently in the anime. The front of the eyeglasses are decorated with two silver crosses and the temples are decorated by a longer silver cross design.
These frames are definitely for someone who wants some Goth flair.
What is the plot of Hunter X Hunter?
The story is set in a world where Hunters are specialists in a wide variety of fields from treasure hunting and catching criminals to cooking. Hunters have access to massive funds and shadowy information that allow them to pursue their dreams and interests. However, being a Hunter is a special privilege, and the only way to become one is to take a deadly exam with an extremely low success and survivability rate.
