NLE Choppa is letting the world know about his interest in Ice Spice. He is all set to drop a song named after the Bronx rapper herself. But does Ice Spice reciprocate these feelings?

Here is everything you need to know.

NLE Choppa names a song after Ice Spice

NLE Choppa took to his Twitter account on Wednesday to unveil the art cover for his upcoming single which is named after rapper Ice Spice. The song is scheduled to drop this week on Friday 4th November.

Moreover, the cover includes an animated illustration of Ice Spice in which her upper chest appears to be covered in the Memphis rapper’s tattoos.

Besides that, NLE Choppa outlined the post with a caption that read, ‘She thought I was feelin her. She was right,’ before adding a crying laughing emoji.

He further questioned, ‘What y’all think? #IceSpice out Friday.’

However, shortly after Ice Spice caught wind of the post and it seems like she is not impressed with the shout-out.

She referenced a line on her latest single Bikini Bottom while sharing the message on her official Twitter handle.

Additionally, the 22-year-old wrote, ‘Ni*ga feenin gotta play it cool.’

NLE Choppa responded to Ice Spice’s remarks in a since-deleted tweet.

He wrote,  ‘What jayda said these n**gas Been on my bodyyyyyy.’

Ice Spice is hanging out with Drake

Ice Spice has been one of the most talked about new rappers in the community following the release of her infectious single ‘Munch (Feelin’ U)’ in August 2022.

Besides that, while she is trying to get used to all this sudden attention focusing on her, the rapper’s viral hit has resulted in her hanging with Drake.

Ice Spice, whose real name is Is is Gaston, opened up about the experience while talking with  RapCaviar.

She said, ‘When Drake DM’d me, I did not really expect that. I had just landed in L.A. for my Genius Open Mic for ‘Munch,’ and he was actually like, “Yo, ‘Munch’ is hard and your On the Radar freestyle is hard.” And I was like, “Damn, that’s crazy because I’m really in L.A. about to shoot the Open Mic.”‘

The Bronx-born singer added, ‘Linking up with him was so cool. Like, he’s mad nice, and respectful. We went to OVO Fest. It was exciting because it was like his first time performing in Toronto, I think in like a couple of years.’

In addition, she continued, ‘So it was just a movie, everybody was excited. The energy was high. Nicki [Minaj] performed, it was lit. [Lil] Wayne did his thing. That shit was crazy.’
